This song is dedicated to our beautiful black cat we named Coco. We adopted Coco when she was just a few months old and she had the softest black coat of any cat we’ve ever seen and her eyes were like huge round butterscotch candies. We adopted her and her brother during COVID in January 2021. On November 2, 2023, at the tender age of 3, she ingested something poisonous and we were immediately forced to make the decision that would end her life far too soon.
This song is a mix of hiphop rhythms, acoustic guitar, synths and classical strings. The abrupt ending signifies Coco’s departure from our family, much too early.
